Custom/Hybrid Backie Chan build "Carbon Princess"

Picked up an infused carbon Backie Chan hull over the winter to build for the GF. Steve from Trendsetterz called this hull the Carbon Princess because of all the black/pink on the ski and the name kind of stuck. The fit and finish of this hull is amazing, only rivaled by my buddy's carbon matrix. You can tell Steve put a lot of attention and detail into this hull.

As for the build were starting off pretty mild and will work our way into more power.

The day we picked it up

Took some more pictures while we were waiting for parts

The girlfriend and I finally started the build on friday night and we need to have this complete along with a powerfactor installed in my Gen3 before the weekend coming up.

Painted the motor black and pink

Pump and midshaft rebuilt and installed, the pump only needed my smalled pair of shims for the back bolts

Installing the Versiplug R

We ordered the Jet Dynamics +2 intake grate, cant believe how big it is

The motor is in and it almost didnt need to be shimmed, but I'm super anal about alignment. It just need 1 set of my smallest shims

wont be able to follow this build while the GF is around. We would be re-doing her sn again after working all winter. Looks sick! The pin and the turf look really good on the black. Keep it up!
Originally we were going to buy a old SN hull off a buddy and build that, but thanks to Truerider411 he conviced her that she needed a aftermarket hull to keep up with the rest of us

bad idea

use a stocker if you want that feel.......

x2, .... the BC has a longer intake so a 'stock' unit won't work, but I plan on making a basic stock type grate (just straight bars) to keep the big stuff out of the impeller/ intake.

Ski looks great, I foresee my old lady getting a AM hull of some sort very soon. I hope she loves her Carbon Princess!

WOW that's nothing on an aftermarket hull! I'm impressed by the fit and finish on these hulls!

Looking forward to more vids with these hulls this summer. Been thinking about an A/M hull myself for next season.
