Look what i found on The internet this am....

This was Steves reply when The ski clinic had posted up lookin for an employee. Why can't all the builders get along and not throw stones??? We should all be positive and try to build the sport up.....

You know. Seeing that and seeing your responses, Honestly I would rather deal with The Ski Clinic than with you. I would be willing to bet in 5-10 years they would still be around. And I would be you do have more composite experience than they do. But remember there was a time that you mixed up your first batch of resin. I am sure you have had blemishes also. Oh wait, you just posted in the past few weeks that you had two blemish hulls for sale. I guess you are not perfect either.

Oh I'm no where near perfect I'll be first to say it... but I only can only take there hidden jabs for so long... any one that knows me knows I don't care to talk :):):):) about them... but there puppet shows are getting old

He sold those at a discount because they weren't perfect. His lack of settling for a less than perfect ski is a big reason I went the way I did. After paying what I did for my first aftermarket hull and it being terrible quality, it's nice to have a guy with higher standards than even myself this time around.

There is a difference, Steve calls them blemish hulls because they do have blemishes and the customer knows , the ski clinic on the other hand does not. Which is why the jabs are getting old because it doesn't happen here on the site. There is a whole different side of the ski clinic that not a lot of people know about. I don't hate them, I purchase products from them all the time, my opinion here is just what I hear from people who have. I will continue to buy products from them but hulls I will not. Don't get me wrong though I do absolutely 100% support hull builders to do their thing, it still dwindles down to the fact that a lot of the stuff that is referred to on the forum does happen behind closed doors.

(Don't take this as mod talk, it isn't. Just an observation as a forums user)

I really don't know about hidden jabs from The Ski Clinic. I don't pay much attention to that I guess. The nice thing about hidden jabs is that they're hidden, I guess.
The very open and outright bashing you guys put forth is getting stale, though. Do what you think is right, but it's extremely unattractive from this potential customer's perspective.
Most businesses deal with "hidden jabs" by ignoring them on open forums. I think it's called the high road.

And as a more general observation on recent trends and this OP: The fanboyism around here has gotten terrible in recent years. I don't know what it is about a/m hulls that brings that out in people, but it's childish. It's to the point where I would not consider owning certain hulls because I do not want to be associated with "those guys".

Thank you Matt, very well put.

We all want this sport to grow but the lack of respect and childish antics the past 2 years has really seemed to tarnish this niche sport and community.

Competition is a good thing and jabs will be thrown but remember respect is earned and not given.

It doesn't matter what ski/motor/pump setup you have. We are all here because we enjoy the sport and the camaraderie. It's all about having fun!! Just my .02

I don't know anything about jabs between you and The Ski Clinic at all. I just thought it was a crappy way to reply to the clinic lookin for someone.

I'm not sayin a negative word about the Backie Chan- I have never seen one so no room to talk. And not sayin I dislike Steve. Just posted an observation I made and didn't mean for it to be a childish thread. Sorry to those I offended and lets just see some hulls in action.

Can't win around here. You're either acting like a 13 y/o or you've got 'sandinyourvagitis'. Just depends on weather your offended or offending.

The fan boy thing does get out of hand. And I agree taking the high road is the best path. But these builders have a lot of pride in their products, stuff happens.

I guess whenever a hull builder takes a jab at another builder off this site we should post it up so everyone gets fair treatment. Cause that's helping make the scene better.

i think if you talk smack or get talked smack to, you should be ready to have to back it up in person. dont say anything hiding behind you comp screen, that you are scared to say face to face. never start $hit, but by all means, finish it.

I can think of only a very small handful of builders that openly take jabs at each other here. The serious businesses know better and don't post here.

And I thought I made it clear: I really don't care. I wasn't speaking as a mod, only making a general observation. I am not offended by it nor do I aim to offend. I only shake my head in disbelief when I see it.

Honestly wasn't responding to you, just general including other threads the way this gets treated.

The OP wants to build the sport and doesn't have anything against Steve, but goes out of his way to screen shot some drama on FB and post it here.

I wonder if people in other industries make a big deal about brand vs brand drama. Ford vs Chevy etc.
"OMG Bob over at Yamaha said the Kawasaki Ninja is a lemon! Lets post that on the sport bike forum!

Not saying Steve's comment was appropriate, cause its not.... But waving your arms and pointing it out doesn't make anything better either.

Again Swappy I realize the way I posted this up was kinda immature but I was frustrated with the comment he made towards the ski clinic after they have been working so hard on building my new ski.

Steves work looks awesome in pics and not takin anything away from him.

Does anyone have a BC near the Midwest yet? Id love to check one out in person.
