What is "that strong"? What kind of testing was done? You can take a composite and in one direction it will be strong, while in another it will be as fragile as an egg. There is a whole lot more than just laying up carbon and glass.

The ski does "look" incredible.
time will tell, a few throw aways in some big surf will be a proper test...

Give one to Matt_e and let him hit some vwakes... Paint jobs and complete skis are looking good guys. Congrats on your boats. Just in time for the season.

Not necessarily, these aren't marketed as big surf boats. A hard season of flat water will expose any weaknesses IMO.

Picked up the hull last night, all I can say to the quality and detail is WOW!

What engine are you putting in it for your girlfriend, until you ride it and steal it from her? Lol

Big K, Give Steve some credit. I talked with him in great drunkin length in Daytona and he has done ALOT of testing and homework on layups. All hull mfr claim strngth and IMO there can be no BALL BUSTING until or unless they are proven WRONG. Steve is using some great products from what I have seen. While I agree time will tell, the benifit of the doubt is only fair IMO.
There is a risk involved in buying ANY new product and this is why the price is generally low when they hit the market. I can honestly say that I will buy one of these hulls if I ride it and like the handling before its completely PROVEN. That cannot be done untill there are plenty of them out there being put to both pro and freeride punishment for a good 3 mos.

On that note WOW, 228 is silly light as rtr weight. My Freak -8.5 carbon RTR is 238# and I was impressed with that. Dont know where 10# can be cut really but if it can I would love to do so LOL.

I assure you that Addict will test this hull sufficiently. Steve picked the perfect AM rider to stand behind here as this guy gives it all and puts everything he rides to the test doing so. I have seen what Toby has repaired for him multiple times LOL and I have watched him go BIG on flatwater on setups that should not have been put through that torture.

Cannot wait to see what he will do with this light weight setup and some nice power upgrades.

I was busting Fan Boy #1's Balls.
I have seen where Steve had said he will replace if there is a problem.
