Basket case blaster motor.

Hi everyone. I just moved from new jersey to st petersburg fl. Sold my ktm supermoto for a blaster but it turns out it has a bad wrist pin bearing and I just don't trust the crank (it sat for a while, half taken apart by the previous owner) The guy gave me his spare 62t/61x motor but its also taken apart. I have a ring set and top end gasket kit for the 61x that was in the ski but want to build the spare as it has a brand new hot rods crank but badly scored piston... Can I use the good pistons and cylinders from the beat 61x motor and the gasket set to get this 62t/61x together? I know there are a lot of other variables there but I'm just trying to piece one motor back together out of the 2.

I would also love to know if there are any other blaster guys here in st petersburg fl area that I could get some help from? I just don't know enough about these motors to start winging it. I can pay in beer and laughs for any help. I just don't know where to start with this basket case of a blaster... There are days I wish I kept the ktm.... Lots of them...

Thanks Lumpy. I have read that a few times now. I built porsche race engines for a living for 14 years so I know it is within my grasp. Just want to make sure it all will work when I slap it back together. I'm limited on time to work on this little basket case so I just want to get everything lined up that I need so I can just bang it out when I get time.

This is my basket case. The other pic is the before and after from the previous owner who built it up.
