I bought one to try out myself and really like it so far. I bought the 480 cca model, which was probably over kill.
Still going strong on these batteries and still using the original 240cca battery in the 1100 Since October '14, with no sign of age.
200-220 psi depending on ski. What compression are you running?

I am still running my original wps 180 cca model in my freak. Compression is 185 on a 701. Been 18monthes and only charged a couple times. I used elect tape to seal the only seam.
Whatever you do make sure to NOT touch the electrolyte. When it dries it leaves lithium salts which are corrosive. The electrolyte is drawn to calcium for some reason and if you are exposed to it (like grabbing something and getting your palm wet) You HAVE to wash the area for several minutes and apply something called calgonate to neutralize the calcium attacking agents. Someone at my job had to have their hand amputated because they were exposed and didnt properly clean it.Officially dead on my 240cca, it was mounted on its side and appears to be leaking acid looking corrosion out of the post that was on the bottom (the post I never used, they come with 4).
I am not positive that my Epic. HX3. Isn't draining it, I was away for 3 weeks but the tether was off.
I get to be first on the warranty test!
calgonate.com has some info. we have hydrogen flouride gas detectors all over the building and the calgonate website talks about HF as well. I do maintenance work on the equipment and I just avoid exposure. There are people dedicated to cleaning up spills. Couple years ago one of the maintenance guys got it on his thumb and didnt realize it until he touched his wrist and felt a burn about 10 minutes later. Even after properly taking care of it he still has a perfect imprint of a thumb on his wrist.Tried looking up what you mentioned but couldn't find any safety information other than risk of fire or explosion.
I work at a lithium battery factory. They are probably talking about small cell phone size batteries. The batteries that are made at my job are the size of a sheet of paper and little over 1/4" thick.@Viperpilot - where are you getting this information about HF in Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries?
HF gas is mentioned as combustion by-product produced during a thermal runaway event, but Only in very low concentrations.

Good. My WPS just pooped out which was odd for only few hours of use. Battery tender is cheaper and if replacement warranty I'll do that or go back to small motorcycle 7lbs ones. Glad it went well for you!
