Think I would need that big of one even if I don't run a TL?
If you have a completely stock ski, and you run a 260 CCA battery, you're reducing your battery cranking power by 20%. That's not a good idea. Yamaha designed it with 325 CCA for a reason. That said, people run smaller lead acid batteries with no issues (Etx- 9, Etx- 12, etc). Keep in mind the lower the CCA, the harder you work the battery. Buying a lithium that's smaller than needed puts additional stress on it, shortens its life, and increases the risk of failure.

Lithiums are best suited for TL applications, as they are designed to be run down and recharged. Lead acids are not. The additional static voltage (ocv) of the Lithiums adds a bit of power (electrical), and reduces starter/starter relay wear/failures.

The added CCA available in batteries such as the AG 16 cell (480) and the AG 20 cell (600) is critical when you step up to big CC motors and high compression, as is proper cables and connections.

On a stock type setup, benefits are questionable (other than weight). These batteries shine on big CC, high compression, TL setups.

Well, I've went through (3) 360s... and here is my input. Don't discharge them too far (obvious,) and somehow seal them. I've trashed 2 of them to them taking on water. I called DelTran and they said that they are not sealed, and that using them other than in a dry box is not advised. I told them that it wasn't sold to me as needed a water proof compartment and that they need to disclose it. Sending 2 batteries into them. I love the batteries other than that they intake water, which I think is non-sense.

have you tried sealing it before use? I bought 2 240cc from them and their Tender to match, still on the 1st one with zero issues but I use a ATP charging ignition not TL on my 1000 Dasa 12mm. The bolt on charging cable is holding up very well and is a treat to use since I made my own battery box and its real hard to reach otherwise.

Well after I send these ones in, I am going to be epoxing them I guess. I just didn't realized they needed to be sealed after using flooded and AGM, would have thought these would have kept water out.

I have four of these that are junk. Battery tender will not warranty because they claim they are not for wet conditions ( even though there's a picture of a JetSki on the box). I switched back to deka's, i'm dealing with the fact they weigh 10 times more

I've had to warranty a couple myself, but haven't had any issues with them not honoring it. It's always been due to water intrusion. Apparently WPS makes a waterproof case for their lithiums.
