Wow, score at $4.99. Like I said, one place is $8 each. Crazy markup.

For as hopped up as the beer is, it's just so smooth. A lot of our IPAs up here have too much malt backbone for us, we like them light and hoppy. I'm going to brew up a Pliny clone one of these days.

Haha. I thought the bottle looked cool.

Even though I'm from Germany, I'm not a beer guy. For some reason, people always assume that I should be.
Anyhow, with this new job I got, I started going out to "New Brew Thursday" on Thu nights. The goal is to try out a beer you've never had before.
I've only went a couple times so far and it's been fantastic. We got a small beer store that carries tons of neat stuff. They do free tasting samples of anything that they have in stock.
I some Dutch sour beer last week that tasted like Sourdough. I forgot the name of it. It was fantastic.
Also had Monk's Mistress which was decent. Kinda fruity.

no real men drink whiskey barrel aged Belgian sours that have been aged for 5-10 years... You could never handle it!!!!

;)

Thanks, that's what I had a couple days ago. Belgian barrel aged sour, but I can't remember the name. Tasted great.

I walked into Twist Wine a bit ago in Pacific City and there was a Pliney de Elder keg all tapped and yummy.

"How did you get that?" i said

"I married the brewmasters sister"

what a treat
