Of course the T cases are better. But for someone on a very limited budget, X cases can be an option, no? :veryhappy:

Edit: I guess it all comes down to budget. Probably a poor choice for a performance engine that needs potential to grow.

Are they better? Or are they better because of bandwagon hype? That my friend is the real question! I have owned hype before and I must say that it is not all that it is cracked up to be. I would rather own 1 oz. of the real deal than 10lbs. of bandwagon hype.

i may not be very experienced with engine builders but i have all the faith in the world with Art. i had a 1,000 questions when i called him and not only did he recommend what would work best for my budget but he also explained why. everything down to prop, carbs, domes was decided by art, not because its the best but because its what i wanted to get out of my ski. that is what sold me. he wanted me to understand what i was getting and how to make it work best. we must of talked on the phone for 2 hours but the whole time he was very patient with me and made sure i was completely satisfied even thou i live on the other side of the country.

it all comes down to, is jetworks the best? maybe not... but i can assure you im going to get my moneys worth, and thats what counts for the avarage workin man these days.

I'm just surprised to hear the 750sx is lighter than the squarenose.. The sxi I had seemed SOOOOO heavy every time we moved it off a trailer onto a stand or back. Seemed to be a lot more work than doing the same with the superjets.

The main reason I've been curious about the 61x cases is simple, I rode a ski a couple years ago and when I found out is was 61x cases I was shocked. Sure, maybe they don't have the potential of the 62t cases. But that's not ALWAYS the point.

I'm not sure what the weight comparison is in stock form between the two but my 750 rides lighter and feels lighter to pick up compared to the superjets we ride with...granted most have tons of glass from repairs and I tried to shed as much weight as possible on my build.

The 61x works for me. I'm on a tight budget and I can always get a set of T cases and swap everything over.

The really smart guys seem to think 61X cases are just fine, they take more work, but the end result is the same.
