100:1........thats suicide! way to lean, thats only 6.4 oz for 5 gallons! 40:1-50:1 and tune engine to that ratio.

They must have alot of $ to replace parts, not one person i ride with runs any where near that ratio, all their hi-HP DASA/yamaha built machines from 701cc to 1200cc run a ratio between 40:1-50:1 and they are hi rev'ing surf/moto surf monsters that would lean/seize in a sec if they ran 100:1. I guess Amsoil must make a really good product to run 100:1

I talked to Amzoil on ratios for my old 781 120 psi TL bla bla and he recommended no less than 50:1

My neighbor's kid races a few different classes of on road bikes and he told me the same, as he's cooked some stuff over the years. They're sponsored by Amzoil.

Ran a TPE 964 this season on 91 pump gas. Philip told me to run Klotz R50 at 40:1 for a few reasons. I inspected it a month back and it's all tidy. Much cleaner than when I was running quicksilver tcw3 in my old 781. Totally different motors yes, but so much cleaner on the Klotz R50.

Any earl will technically work to a certain extinct .Benol in k50 especially at lower ratios than 50/1 is very tough to burn efficiently in a freeride or rec boat. Most all other applications for pv motors using it are sustaining over 8000k rpms or using crazy comp and oxy fuel. Klotz ski tech is a much newer tech oil for modern pv motors, uses much less benol and burns more efficiently in our motors running in the 7s. Theres something to be said for a oil type that has the ability to stick to parts well in the presence of salt water,Any other 2 stroke motor sports out there that regularly have to ingest a gulp of water and not shear off ? happens all the time in a standup ski especially ridden in the ocean....)

Another thing to consider..A oil with alot more detergent may keep your pv a little cleaner, but good luck getting that motor started again once you have sunk it and drug up on the beach, without a set of 7 plugs with the ends cliped half way, your going to be playing with a frothy mess for 3x longer before the brap comes back......

I've been running Amsoil Dominator at 50:1 for many years now... I've run it in the following motors without issue:

701 with mild mods
modified 720 195 psi
Totally modded Dasa 850 pv 190 psi
Totally modded Dasa 971 pv with static timing advance etc 195+ psi

all of my motors have been clean when pulled apart for inspection
