Best turf?

So currently my ski has something called a sand traction pad or somethin or other

I'm hydroturfing later this year, but which cut it best?
And is there much of a difference between the molded and cut grooves/diamond?

i prefer waffle cut..its like little squares..you will have to call them for it...

you can get it in a kit...yes thats black marble...the traction is better than diamond imo..

i have ridden skis with diamond, ribs, and waffle. My my personal skis have only had ribbed, but next I am going to try diamond. Feels so cushy, especially with bare feet.

How's the waffle on bare feet, I won't always have shoes on.
The mat thing I have now has smpooth sides, and the bottom is a cut diamond

think your talking about the old Sano Mats for 550's, not sure if they made them for superjets and 750's (dont know what you ride)

X2! You do have to ask for it, you get a sheet with a drop off of 12"x40" so be prepared when it comes in 2 pieces.

I have black waffle and feel the traction is great, but I have only bench tested

(yes I stand on my ski, while on the ski stand in the garage)

Yea that's what it is, it's a sano mat on a 440.

i'm thinkin maybe waffle now...
