Best twin carbs and manifold ? ?

I think the 48 novi's are the best. I run these in my superstock with M-16's. In my other ski I have a set of Mikuni dual 44's. I think if you have the money to spend then buy a set of novi's. For freestyle you can't beat the performance and money value of a set of Mikuni 44's.

That is just from my experiences. I have built and rode superjets with similiar mods using Riva, Full Spec, Novi, Black Jack and Mikuni's. If I have the money it is a set of Novi's. From reading this post I am thinking about getting rid of my M-16's and putting in the some v-force's.

Do you want amazing quick snap with a super strong signal? All you have to do is side mount your carbs straight in like a seadoo. Buy a Riva side mounting spacer $40 for an older non PV1200 motor cut the middle intake out bolt your carbs to the two outer ones left and there you have it.Straight in carbs- with shoulder jerking response- you touch throttle= you swim to get back on ski!!! We did that back in the day I would always get the hole shot but the Hx's would get me on top end in the limited class. IM going to try to attach pics of our set up, That also one of the reasons yamaha uses straight in on all their new boats except the superjet

Seems iffy for a freestyle ski because of potential water intake though. I imagine the throttle response is awesome.

When I was doing my testing w/ the full spec carbs and riva carbs I just realized from that picture that the RAD valves on my intake set up are RAD-131-R w/ a dual stage reed petal (carbon and glass) vs the 3 stage glass petals shown in the above picture. The reed cages that now come on the Full Spec set-ups are RAD-131-A. The reed tension of the petals may contribute the the loss in low end performance I noticed on my particular setup. I am going to see if I can get intouch with Ed from Full Spec to see what performance advantages the 131-A has over the 131-R, or if the LT 3 petal design is available for the 131-R cages. I honestly think that this may solve the loss of lowend performance I was noticing b/c the petals on my boat are pretty stiff.

The RAD 131 A are the 3 stage with carbon fibre in the middle is that correct
