Surfriding Best way to install rear Superfreak tow loop ?

But now that it's seen saltwater, I'm getting some rust on it. It says steel, and then it says stainless steel finish... Pretty sure I gave it the old magnet test and it was only slightly magnetic, like low-grade SS. A good marine hardware supply should have something similar in 100% SS

Looks to be secure with 4 bolts holding it.

l think l'll install the hardware that rmbc has on his freak.l found l developed a leak somewhere around my left foothold,so guess l'll just pull up the turf,fix the leak and install the loop.

a search seems to indicate you want SS grade 316, which is considered marine grade

You are correct. Pat is owner of Suncor and a fellow rider ski addict as you said. They make awesome SS hardware.

great solutions guys ! I like both the strap and the SS bow eye ring .

Based on RMBC's idea, sj762 made these out of SS and had it welded. He then clear coated them for extra protection.

What do you guys think ?
