Big bore vs 4 mil HPE drop in kit

Comparing the 4 mil HPE bolt in stroker on 760 cyl to a 781 61x big bore or a 760 that is bored and decked for lower port timing by CPT.

What is the best bang for your buck for low end hit? Thoughts?

Thanks

I think price wise it'd be similar. performance not sure, but also could be pretty comparable......could come down what parts do you have right now. meaning if you've got a 62t cylinder or 64x cylinder. and T cases go with CPT. I got my pArts super cheap so he's doing my 780 and T case porting and will run it as He sets it up since his system is proven. but I've got a very strong 61x/61x motor that's my "go to" motor that just keeps running. I'm thinking of dropping in the 4 mill as a test. in that one since it runs so well currently I could do a clear before and after comparison. not sure if this helps or not but I'm almost literally in the same spot as you are.

760s rock add compression and some timing they are great motors that pull very well when setup right, ive had to adjust my riding style for every motor ive owned most people i know utilize the midrange of there powerband anyways

I'll post more on this in a week or so, but I have an HPE 4mil kit on the way with a ported 760 cylinder(that hasn't been decked) I'll be running.

What is your riding style and what do you ride anyways? I've ridden an hpe 5mil and was impressed, and a 4 mil with hpe porting will be very close in performance which is why I'm going that route.
And I'm with those posted above.. It's not always about low end. Mid to top is what gets you your height!

All good options. I would go with which ever one fits your budget.

Not really a misconception when I've owned all of the above except that exact stroker kit by hpe. More of a first hand comparison. Have ridden a 5mm before though. I stand by my previous statement, it's what I have found in my experience
Ive also ridden or have owned 701s, 760s, 61xs,and 62t combos. Id have to say my ported 760 "hit the hardest". Would take that over a 701 any day.

Saw a 760 with b pipe and a head which still was running relatively low compression flip flat water in a phantom. Sooooo I'd say a 760 with the 4mm stroker would rip.

No replacement for displacement!
