Other Bilge switch keeps taking a poop

Is there an issue with just running a rule 500gph constantly? Just just done with a ride and my 3rd switch took a on me. I'm usually out on the water all day in 1-2 hr. intervals then hang on the beach for a bit.

I know they say those bilges are able to be ran dry, but will that shorten its life substantially or risk burning it up?

I run dual 500's and usually leave them on all day, (4+ hrs). No problems yet. Most people I ride with do the same.

they have sealed bearings..you can run them all day.........if your using the old style handlebard military style switch they are awful....


pick one up from mr OCD and you'll be good to go!
