Not to sure works good at the moment, only know of the UMI system. Is there any others available ?

There might be a few of these still floating around.. I have had good luck with them.. you really don't notice a change untill you go back and ride one without the spring.. they are a little easyer on the wrists

they made the blaster800 (gp800 pv motor) for a few years in the late 90's. It was only available in Europe... I hear they are not that great of a ski. (for freeride)
.....don't know about the racing aspect

see its because its blue. my buddy pat (wb800blaster) has one i think its a (2000) white and grey not the blue and white. there was one last year in nj forsale on pwct with twin pipes on it

We bought the one from Jersey, yes it has twin pipes. It uses the two of the three pipes from the GPR factory pipes. It also has a fully TJ ported motor, hig compression, total loss, and Novis. If you think this ski is too heavy to race, you are wrong. It will stay neck and neck with my non PV lamey 6mm in a B1. Plus, it is a caddilac to ride. Comfortable and stable. Nice ski, but still not a B1. What makes the B1 so much fun is that it takes skill to ride, not comfortable and stable!

Power wise, I think they are pretty similar. The B1 is a lot lighter, but the twin pipes help alot on top end of the 800. Put them side by side and say go and they are as close as two skis can get. Neither is as fast as my Mod, but my mod is quite a bit lighter than the stock hulled B1 or the 800.

I wouldn't turn any of them down!

i was thinking of putting a 800pv in a spare b1 hull i have. i have a set of pipes that look like they will fit. i would have thought you could get more power out of a 66e motor seeing you start with 120hp stock.

You have to understand, both of my Lameys are plus 155hp motors. I suspect my TJ built PV is quite a bit more than that. I doubt you will get the twins in the B1 hull, if you do, you are good. The Euro is a huge ski, and they barely fit in it. I have a nice 6mm Lamey I will sell you that will make your spare hull skoot on down the lake at a nice pace. :)

do it, you can get more power out of that 66e motor. Ask pat, he is very familiar with the 66e motor platform and has alot of go-fast stuff. Those guys are leaving them 800cc to stay legal for racing, if your not racing you can go much bigger with the bore.

Hi would you have any photos of the pipes in the 800 hull? As my brother would be very interested to see. Hes been after pipes for ages, are they off the GPR800 ?

I'll try to get you some pics tonight. The pipes are actually two of three Factory GPR1200 pipes. Don't know why TJ went with them, but it works.

i have put the pipes up to the 701 and they look like they will fit. i know the 800pv is a bigger motor so not sure. i think with a hammer maybe gas tank mods it would be doable. i have the speedwerx 1200r pipes

that is my problem i talk to pat to much and start think 800pv. i actully bought my lamey cylinder from him. he is a great guy and gave me a great price for the lamey

Here's my BBB (basic black blaster).
I painted it my self with base coat clear coat auto paint.
Came out okay.
Has a Riva (pain in the a$$ to install) red pipe, Riva f/a and Riva toploader intake.
Protaper minibike bars cut 40mm on each end.
Bilge pump.
Taped the head for a 5/16 water bypass, makes the pipe run dryer for more power.
Stock motor so far.

Here us a couple of my 96 b1's... one of my favorite toys... They are both in pristine condition all original not a stress crack or gel coat spider crack to be seen.. One of them sat in a crate at a dealer till 1999 and didnt hit the water till summer 2000. I kept one bone stock, all original with all the decals etc looks like it came off the showroom floor, and my other one I built slowly to a limited spec to keep reliability and value up, also added some billet goodies.

Limited spec b1:
Umi Bars
Umi finger throttle
Umi steering shaft (full setup)
Odi locking grips

Motor:
Flame arrestors
185psi head
Factory B limited pipe
Tdr water box
primer kit
Dual shock hood opener

Pump:
Riva intake grate
Ocean pro goovy ride plate

Misc:
Silver Aluminum Bow ties, Oil block off plate, and fuel knob.
