Surfriding BOB Gen 2 Standard strong enough for surf?

Just bought a BOB Gen 2 RTR ski standard wet-lay. Talking it to surf slam, and I understand the limitations of a FW ski in the surf, wondering what I should watch out for? Trick wise? Where to be craeful, or even if I have to?

If you're really worried you can ask for a couple extra layers on your layup. It's what I did.

Are the BOB's actually cracking from side inpact landings or does the ski clinic suggest to reinforce them just as a precaution and to cover any liability?

Last I heard Jack is out this year with an ankle injury(fixing it this winter) and I am out with a knee injury that is almost healed up and will be ready for next year for sure.

Jack looked pritty good on the water yesterday with his bob. Said he wasn't going to compete this year though.
