What I am Saying is porting and propping of a boat isn't a LITTLE difference, If performed correctly. I wouldn't imagine a SS RACE SKI isn't going to be propped as low as a freestyle ski, Nor does a freestyle ski need the topend porting of a SS RACE SKI. Maybe I'm missing something here:ugh:

I was under that impression also, the boats that are being held (That I have seen) usually aren't idling right before take-off.Of the races I have seen the riders aren't brapping the throttle that much while riding, But What do I know (I didn't sleep

Hey X, my point was there really is not much difference in a race ski and a freestyle ski, the difference is where it makes its best power...

you want a ski to be able to come off the line strong and hard, but you still have to have the top end. My SJ on ran about 49, I could repitch it and get more. but it not the same as a ski with race porting..... though, until the past few years, many freestyle competition skis were running the exact same motors as race ski's, with lower pitched props... Porting has changed for freestyle to where they are taylored for the use, Paul Lehr came up with a port package for Taylor Curtis that worked great for the waves he rides in, the power comes on at the point where he needs it, not right off the bottom or way up in the midrange.

Not trying to knock you at all........... Give it a shot......... Just dont let chick talk you into making it out of PVC....:haha: :haha: :haha:

i never said you walked around drunk everyday, i was merely making a point thats all, even though they are your friends, you need to look at it from the aspect that other potential sponsors might be at events as well and them seeing you in that state might be cuase for you not receiving sponsorship from them thats all...

Which campus? I am attending WSU Pullman currently, and have taken a bunch of classes at WSU Tri-Cities.

Back on topic, I think it would mostly benefit for flatwater where you need the sudden acceleration for monkey jumps, flat-water BR and such,I don't think Surf riders would benefit that much, As when riding surf I try to stay pretty in a fluid motion. Like I stated before this mod wouldn't be for everyone but, I don't see any real drawbacks. Even allot of the Banshee riders don't notice any difference (but notice no draw backs), Because they are looking for topend, and for take off well they have a clutch so you are never really bogging the motor down, but where they notice it is when upon rapid decell. then accel.
