BrApJaCks!!!!!

Ya I can't wait for my new Jetworks motor. I don't think I'm going to sell my 44mm blackjacks, when I get bigger ones for my new motor. I like them too much.

I just want to see how well they would work for a 1000cc+ pv motor

That sounds like really low popoff for a BlackJack carb. They should run around 20-25 psi if I recall correctly.
Have you talked to Art about what jetting to run?

I'm pretty sure my SJ has 38's. They are stock and the throat looks tiny compared to my 44mm mikuni on my X2. How much does the mod cost and where are the benefits.

Yes, I know, I could call art and browse the site, but I'm not ready to buy. Lots in this thread about them being great. Was just curios as to why and what a ball park figure is on the work you guys are having done.

$170 each for 38s and $180 each for 44s. I dont know exactly what he does, but he does something good. I had a BJ 48 that hit hard and I had WFOSpeedracer tune the ski, he said it was cake. The thing I like about the BJs is 95% of the guess work is taken out. You tell him what mods you have and he tells you what jets, spring, needle and seat to run, and gets you within a 1/4 or less of a turn on the speed screws. Im sure some applications may vary, but mine was almost dead on as well as many others, my brother and I are sending 4 of our carbs to him after christmas and cant wait to get them back. I highly recommend this mod.

no one can tell you the benefits better than the man him self. call Art, you will not regret it. he is not going to try to talk you into anything. i always learn something from him when we have a conversation. priceless...

I can agree with Vumad, sometimes it just nice to know a ballpark figure of what you should look at. I foresee this as something I may do in the future but it's nice to have a little background information before calling sometimes too. Also, if it were not in my price range then I would never bother calling because I wouldn't want to waste his time.

Maybe it's just me, but I dislike when people inquire about things then never end up following up or following through with what they want, or what they say they want if they are never serious.

98GTI, Thanks for the ballpark information :)

They are awesome on my ADA 850! I bought them from Art and bolted them on and it was spot on PERFECT! You won't be disappointed.
