Ditto. Looked like nothing but extreme chop when we left Sunday morning

Thanks guys! The waves were right in front of the south shore, right at the event. The bar tenders were watching from inside, we drove down on Sunday parked and I was freezing, LOL rode for a while in the 2-4' chop and was beat so i sat down slammed a red bull helped the syracuse guys load up and decided to ride for 15 more minutes around 3PM. Rode for about an hour, sorry for the wait to load up your ski Pat. The waves got bigger and cleaned up a little, as you can see. Red Bull gave me wings! LOL Probably one of the best rides of my life and I have attended a few.

Us either, I have only seen them get like that in the bay a few times a year. I have seen bigger there but it very rare. Epic day for that spot.

Yes very uncommon for that bay, the wind direction was perfect thanks to the hurricane. We have never surfriddin in that bay like that. Always only at Sturgeon Point. It was like arena style surfriding because everyone at the beachbars were watching us. I give mad props to Brian for not only pulling off his first backflip but for doing it in a washing machine. Those waves were tight with only a 2-3 second interval and tons of white water. was not easy to navigate without getting rolled in surf lol.

Great job and really great video. You can't tell from the video, but Brian was quite a way out there to get into deeper water. I watched Brian's previous attempts and knew instantly that this was going all the way! Great riding with everyone on Sunday! 2012--are we there yet?, are we there yet?, are we there yet?.............

Thanks Chris. It was tight chop, but you have to take what you can get during a freeride. LOL Thanks again for supporting our ride and specifically me. Watching all you guys kill it in the surf is what motivated me to finally try.
