So what's a temporary permit for active military...?

apparently as active military you can receive a temporary permit. It only applies to "active" military in case they are deployed. I wish they would just let this happen at ease. Id say we are always good, clean up after ourselves and we are all pretty respectful unless we are provoked.

Agreed. Good ride spot , however very very shallow with sandbars. Not the best place for Unfamiliar riders. Trust me..... I nearly sunk 2 blasters this season alone.

brigantine/atlantic city inlet is really shallow also where the waves break. + Hard sand at the bottom like daytona.

Just spoke with city hall, ACCORDING TO THEM, its 80% on and the town has stepped in to take over, the only thing preventing the event would be if they cant obtain insurance in time. That is all they said, i know nothing about changes or cost differences or anything else.

Thats up to city, but my guess is that there needs to be event insurance to cover the town regardless if we sign waivers or not. As of right now we arent involved, just passing on info.

I saw that. Little transparency would be nice. What details need to be worked out? What progress has been made? (Not directed at you jhammett)

I think it's fine to encounter issues, I think it's important to let people know what's going on when they have their hard earned money on the line and may need to change their plan. I cancelled my hotel room today. If the event is on I will find another room, I hope they work it out.

I don't see where it has anything to do with deployed military. Active and deployed are two different issues.
