Brocks Gulf Tribute Build! **Test Ride\Problems**

Alright Ill use that location. Im REALLY mad about my dremel situation I used that thing for evertying. It was like a 7 year old model that I had before. I just bought the top of the line dremel and it spins half the speed of my old one (it says the new one spins 35k)

I ll tell you the most used tool I used on my builds is an angle grinder ( and a flap disc).. if you dont have i highly suggest it ,. But I also use the hell out of my dremel

You can buy a 4" grinder at harbor frieght for very little.

Well I have been very sick the last two days. I got whatever is going around school, sinus infection, fever, tired\lightheaded. I dont really feel like doing much until I recover. I can hardly get out of bed sometimes. I did manage to get those tabs grinded off while I had some energy during the day, but thats about it for now.

had some more energy today, fever is going away, still feel like im "in a bubble" from junk in my head. managed to get this template made, and on the ski, cutting the slots this weekend and hopefully having the bracket fully installed by the end of the weekend. this will be very nerve-wrecking

Since the bracket isn't fully mounted yet, measure the holes and go a bit smaller. I want to say around an 8mm bolt but since you're buying everything from scratch, it would make sense to go with a standard thread like 5/16" so you can get it locally. Build it up first and drill some pilot holes to get an idea of how long you need the bolts to be. The front will be shorter so take that into consideration as well.

Wow took me a few minutes to figure out how to determine where the slits needed to go and as soon as I marked it, I was confident it would be sufficient. I hated the fact that I would be cutting into my pretty paint job but it had to be done so I got over that quickly too...

slowly progressing, nothing exciting to get pictures of. just more bondo work. Versiplugs came in today, im really waiting on paint. My hockey coach works for some big paint dealer (I just had the name on my tounge but forgot) and hes the manager of the automotive section and Im seeing if he can get me a deal on some paint.
Im not going to make my deadline of june 9th.
