It is a little more that the sally struthers course but not much. I know a few guys that has been to the MMI institute in FL. I think it cost a bunch of money to go but it gives you a certification. The local seadoo marina let there mechanics and there seadoo dealership go because they weren't going to pay for the tecs to go renew their certification. Now we the employees at my shop.... (just me) are doing all the work .... YEA.. electrical problems...:crazy:

I actually will chime in here though,

Pete, I respect you as a very talented rider, and I think (as others have said) when the bull******** cleared out, you make some interested points. But bro, come on man, grow up. I can tell just by everyones surprise at your actions that this is not you.

People get pissed, and people type pissed...i understand that, but while youve raised some interesting points in making this thread, you demean every relevant point you may have with the personal attacks on Ronny, Milf, etc.

That being said, I'm not going to judge Pete, nor am I going to withhold any potential business from Paul based purely on this thread. The truth often contains a helluva lot more than the internet can express.

i must say i am so pleased to see some one stand up and bash one of the so called imortals on this site weather he is sposored by them or not ******** work deserves a ******** reputation i think there has been a lot of people rthat have had problems with you know who and it is about time that that came to light
just cause you helped build this site dose not in any way discise shabby work or customer relations

i have alswys been fast to post negative feeds on anyone or any company.

and, like matt, many times it is against the "sweethearts" of the industry

in the 10 + yrs i have been in this sport i have learned that most of the companies involved with part distribution and repair are run by asses.

also i am quick to praise anyone that does me right. when it come to "companies or shops" there are 3. leg dragg, lpw and jss.
all of them have always gone out of there way to correct errors , or rectify any problem immediately, and on their own dime

paul has never built me a motor , but has spent extra time helping me out and doing some quality machining work for me . and selling me parts that i have needed.

i am glad pete posted this stuff, but based on my past dealings it will not disuade me . i think for the most part pauls work speaks for itself.

pete, there really seems to be something more you are trying to do here.

perhaps you got screwed , maybe you didn't. but really man state the facts and move on.

as for the rock and ride stuff. i didn't see anyone shunning kenny j or powder????? odd to state that. i rode kenny's ski and hung out withhim, and knew who built his boat. it rips..... who cares who built it.

Sponsorship can consist of different levels of support.

In Pete's case I would say all his engine work was done free of charge, misc parts was given to him when needed (gaskets, filters, etc etc), Tech support, first hand, not over the phone and oh yeah, he got to run one of Pauls ADA Billet Stroker Motors for most of last season, this motor is worth at least $3000.00 if not more.......... Pete had more sponsorship from Jr Magoo's/LPW than most of us out here get from any of our sponsors.... and I mean way more.......

Guys, I am going to make an appology here, I assumed that ALL of Pete's motor work was sponsorship, I may be wrong on this, I was trying to show what one level of sponsorship can be, guess I should have used an different example.........

If I was in Paul's shoes and was a "paying" owner of this site, Pete would have been banned after his first post. Paul pays to promote business with this site. No way would I allow someone to come in and try and damage my name on a site that I was paying for. Wouldn't happen! Anyone that disagrees, please show me proof that you have either 1. You’ve taken biz101 in college 2. Own you own "profitable" business 3. Have a certificate from your state saying you are mentally incompetent.

One thing I have picked up from this thread is that I will NEVER own a ported LAME-O!!!

I sure as hell am not changing pistons/rings every 30 tanks of gas. Not in this lifetime.

WDK 1200 is in my future.

This is where you are lied too.... I PAID FOR ALL MY STUFF, He ported my cyl... and case. from fuel filters to spark plugs to geting beat on parts and overcharged as a sponsorship.. BULL********>.. Shut your pot hole... You want me to scan reciepts... No probl.. I am work, they at home.. I will have the theivery up fo you to see... WAY over charged and would work for free for him and would get beat anyway.. then he throws together have ass crap... You need to just shut the hell up... because Paul is the biggest F-ing liar and has beat so many up ! :AR15firing:

Paul Lehr, Darin Jett and Myself are the owners of this site, LPW is not an owner......

As much as it would be tempting for even me (or Paul for that matter) to go and delete the thread, ban Pete that is not how we run the site..... I think it has been pretty evident here. People have accused us of doing things to benefit LPW, as you can see that is not so. Paul's involvement here and LPW have to remain separate and unbiased....... Otherwise the integrity of this site is degraded.... The Admins and Moderators of this site have always tried to make the best decisions for this site, sometimes we do not always handle something they way it should, at every moment we make a judgment call, sometimes it is good, sometimes it is not.. It is the price we all pay being humans...
