Ant, if you dont want to read other peoples views and or opinions I suggest you dont join a message board. I'm sure you know everything that goes on in Jersey, and in marks shop. You think I'm trashing Jersey riders. I'm not.
I have some good friends in Jersey. One is taking a year off riding because of Pete. Everything I know of all this comes from jersey BTW.
I have stated nothing as fact. Only scenarios that will probably end up as fact.

Well that was my view and I am entitled to my own views so it seems to me that you don't accept my view so that makes you just as guilty as I am then maybe you shouldn't be on the message board either. I never said anything malicious to offend you or anybody else. There is no expression typing on a keyboard other than what you type so whatever is said, in a situation like this, is taken as an individuals personal thoughts on matters. So please do not state anything that you do not want to get taken the wrong way or that is not your true personal thoughts. Oh and by the way I have never stepped foot in that shop since Paul got out of there and I have no affiliation with it whatsoever, never talked to the owner and never heard anything from or about him other than he bought 24/7 innovations.

Have a nice day!

Ant...Out!

I think both parties are wrong. But keep in mind here, there is a difference from giving negative feedback and a personal attack against one's company. I see the latter happening with some of the posts and I feel that is a shame.

Post your negative feedback with constructiveness, not slander.

I also do believe that if people want to speak up and leave their feedback now, so be it.

Kaveman's post has been the best to this point of critical feedback, where are the others that haven't posted that can leave feedback with out saying "f you, suck it, etc..."?

Where to start... In 2005 I was reffered to Paul through a couple of different people. I spoke with him a few times and decided
that I would get to do some work for me since he seemed very knowlagable and he was only about an hour away. So I had him port a cyclinder
for me and purchased some different parts . Everything was great cyclinder was done ahead of time I was very pleased.

I attended my first rager that year where i met Pancake Pete. In november I went daytona for a ride, me and Pete hung out alot and
became good friends. In Feb. of 2006 I ordered alot of parts from Paul had him port another cyclinder for me. I received most of parts
in a timely manner, my cyclinder was supposed to be done at the beginning of May it was not. I went back and forth with paul, I understand
at this he was having problems with his business partner, so in july I recieved the cyclinder but was still waiting on a set of carbs. I kept
in touch with him, trying to get my carbs. So Pete had a spare set and he let me use them until I got mine. I finally recieved the carbs
in the middle of Sept.

In march of 2007 I decided I wanted a big bore and after seeing how pete's held up and Paul always did good work I figured I would get him
to build 2 big bore's for me. I sent paul 2 cyclinder and 2 sets of cases in march and was promised that I would have them by the end of April or the
beginning of May. The end of april came and I still had no parts, I called about once a week asking him what was going on with my stuff, I kept getting told
next week it will ship. Next week came and went and still nothing finally the end of june I recieved 2 cyclinders,2 sets of cases
2 pistons 2 domes and some other things and I was told he had to order the other 2 pistons and set of domes, a couple of weeks past and
no domes or pistons showed up so I contacted Paul and I was informed there was a problem getting pro-x pistons so I asked for a refund for the
pistons and I was charged for 2 head pipes and manifold portings. So I asked for a refund on one of them since I only had one done.
I had probaly rode the boat maybe 4 times and had an o-ring blow, so I diassmbled, inspected, and installed new o-rings and swapped domes. I rode for another 20 mins
or so and dropped a cyclinder again. I diassembled and inspected and found that both sleeves dropped, from the water injestion issues I ended up
destroying a crank and a set of pistons. I talked to paul and told him what happened and he told me to send it back, so I diassembled and
sent it back so I assemble a new motor using the other set of cyclinders. I go to ride and it lasts for about 30mins and I lost a cyclinder
diaasmbled and inspected another blown o-ring. So I installed new o-rings and retested. That lasted about 10 mins then the o-ring blew again,
rear sleeve dropped, and the cyclinder deck was not flat. So I sent everything back to paul for inspection and he advises that the first set of cyclinders
both sleeves dropped and rear sleeve was cracked, second cyclinder sleeves dropped and casting twisted.
So he installed new sleeves in one cyclinder and the other one he had to get a cyclinder since the casting was bad. It took
about a week turnaround to get one back. He overnighted it to me so I would have it for the weekend but DHL messed up and
shipped it to the wrong place not his fault. So I get the cyclinder, set of pistons gaskets and new pin bearings. I assembled the
new motor. I take it out, it lasted about 20 mins and then i dropped a cyclinder, rear cylinder had a blown o-ring, and the rear sleeve dropped again.
So I sent it back the second week in aug. So here I am once again without a ski so I dug up some parts and got some things from my friends and put
together a frankistein motor. Paul was trying to find out what the reason behind the sleeves dropping was. On 9/11 after the this thread got posted Paul called and
asked me what I wanted to do if I still wanted him to fix the cyclinders or my money back I told him give me a day to think about it. Paul refunded my money today.
The biggest problem's I have are that the turn around time is horrible im sick of wrenching on a ski all week to try and keep it going and then the weekend comes and
I ride for very little and it has to come back apart once again. And once again my riding season has been cut SHORT!

To clear a few thing up here my name was thrown around in this thread a few times, I never asked anyone to post anything for me
I have kept my problems with different vendors privately. I've been friends with Pete and Paul for awhile and am kinda stuck in the middle.
Pete has gone to bat for me and has done what ever possible to help me with my riding, parts, or anything he can and you have to know Pete as his attitude is
extreme just like his riding. He is one hell of a friend. Paul has always been there when I needed help and as a friend. Since I've been accused of hanging out at Marks shop thinking of ways to
bring Paul down I've been there twice once at his grand opening and a few weeks ago to get my old 24/7 hood fixed and he fixed it without
any questions, I have better things to do with my free time.

I am not on here to bash anyone. I just want people to understand dealing's with LPW. This is not personal, this is just business wise.

IF all these accusations are true, then why did it take you so long to cut ties? You got beat on time after time.......but you kept coming back for more??? You blew a motor 3 times in one summer, and you kept letting Paul repair it??? Your exhaust was too hot, hot enough to cause damage, and you didn't notice anything??? And this was all years before you singed all your friends up to let Paul steal their money???
Exactly what I was thinking.

If all these accusations are real, it leads me to think either all the riders in the "freeride team" are still in bed with LPW or this is all overblown and a personal vendetta. If they are real, the timing of this makes me to think Pete didn't say anything until he was able to secure another "deal."

What scares me is most people in the list that Pete mentioned haven't posted to support or deny any of this.

Over the last 4 years, I've been concerned with how commercial freeriding has become. IMO, it has become more "pro" like racing and all the politics that follow it. It appears some are losing focus.

I would like to hear from those that Pete mentioned many posts back.

My brother teaches Yamaha certification classes. There are different classifications and certifications depending on if you work for a dealer or not.

I know its late and out of contex at the moment but I will answer the questions about being a factory certified tech.First off you would have to be employed by a dealership to be able to attend a factory school and be factory certified. Some schools you just show up for a day or so and get certified, others such as Honda,Seadoo,Mastercraft, and Kawasaki you attended multi day schools, performed whatever tasks assigned to you by the instructors and pass a battery of tests given to you or you do not get certified. That being said does anyone know if Paul has been or ever was employed by a dealership? If the answer is no then he is not factory certified. If the answer is yes then most likely he is factory certified.

I also always kind of thought there was something a little slimy. I could never quite put my finger on anything concrete until last year. I became party to a VERY malicious, slanderous email Paul sent about another business that regularly frequents X-H2O. I have the emails and can produce them if needed. The things said were untrue. What's worse was that at the same time Paul was privately expressing interest in doing business with the very company he was slandering.:23:

I think you may be referring to me. This malicious e-mail was sent to John Dady, owner of Blowsion, by Paul Lehr, expression his frustration wit a competitor (CG Racing). I still do not understand why someone would do this to a competitor / fellow builder. I would never dream of sending an e-mail like this to the largest most powerful company in this industry. This is the compny that can make or break you in this sport. If Blowsion doesn‘t like you, they can make things very difficult . This all began when X-H2O was looking for companies to purchase a billboard spot and I didn’t want to. Instead I decided to donate $100 from Party Boy and myself to support the site (Party Boy is not even a member!). There are a few others I spoke with on this issue and we decided not to advertise, but to go ahead and donate anyway. I was slandered by a few people in the “clique” any time a rumor was spread about me, hoods, chin pads, etc. After the rumor that we were allegedly selling copied 24/7 hoods, and bashed about them publicly, I received a voicemail from Mr. Lehr asking if I would be interested selling them to him for distribution, all taking place after Mark Ericson purchased 24/7. I cannot help but think this was a way to get at Mark Ericson. I will never make accusations on hearsay, only on the facts although I have heard firsthand many instances of the “LPW Clan“ badmouthing Party boy and myself on the things we work very hard on.. I too always thought there was something a little slimy. This is the actual e-mail cut and pasted to this post. Not giving back to the site or sport? I think not. Many of you that know me, have seen the things I do to keep everyone I meet on the water. Riding means nothing to me if my friends aren’t there, I think there are many that have heard me say that.

Hey Johnny, I just wanted to send this quick note about it.

The past several weeks had me going about Chuck Gillipsie & CG racing.

Basically he is splashing parts big time, undercutting everyone’s pricing & not giving a dime back to the site or the sport in general

There are a couple of other shops doing similarly.

For all of us who are in this game for the long haul, I got pretty pissed.

Somehow in the middle of it all, Blowsion got mixed in & I guess Mark posted under a anonymously screen name.

I found most of this out this morning. Darrin & Harrison both called me this morning & realized the mistake.

I want to apologize on the part of the three of us. Blowsion was not the intended target in this.

Please don’t feel threatened. That is the furthest thing from the truth.
Hope you understand.

Ski ya,

Pete is not off his rocker, I have firsthand witnessed his built up rage. He has been biting his tongue for a year now waiting for things to get better. After a year, I see why he exploded. Also, Alex is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met, I would loan him my personal ski ANY time he needed it. DJ and the Cleveland crew? Also VERY standup guys and I consider myself lucky to be friends with them. After being in this close circle business, I have learned who to associate with and which pseudo-dyno pulling, slime balls to stay away from. Oh, and my last name is Glaspie.

I really wouldn't know anything about Yamaha certifications as I am not Yamaha certified, all the others I mentioned I am certified in, plus several more that I didn't mention, therefore I spoke only of what I had firsthand info on.
