Can 46 Mikuni connections be turned?

I want to position them so they both point towards the hull. Can they just be turned? Are they threaded in???

They are splined. Used a screw driver and pry them away from the carb body gently.

Gotcha. Need an adhesive to put them back in again?

Negative, just push them back in.
