:banghead:Son Of A Mother F'n Biotch!!!!!!!!
I completely disasembled my ski, reinforced the hull and painted the engine compartment, checked the pump, checked the crank and pistons, put in all new gaskets, put a stock pipe on it and replumbed the cooling back to stock. I put brass plugs in the head to fill all the holes. New bendix, new motor mounts, rejetted the carbs.....
Put it in the water today to tune the carbs. It started fine but...
IT STILL SOUNDS LIKE A WOUNDED ELEPHANT!
I also noticed that the pump wasn't pushing any water and there was no water coming from the engine spitter.
The only thing I didn't pull and check was the midshaft. So I guess it was bad somehow. So now I get to pull the engine AGAIN!!!
Any ideas on what is wrong with the midshaft?:1zhelp:
Will someone just shoot me please?
