Other car pulls skis good

yeah, took it off overdrive and it did pretty good. i will have to say i was surprised at how well it did. didn't pull as easy as my truck but did really well.

my buddy tows his 2 skis everywhere with his subaru , he even dosent get stuck where i do in my fullsize 1500
Yeah I towed with a 2002 2.5RS with a manual trans for a long time. They are geared low as hell, towed an SXR and an Ultra 150 for two seasons before I upgraded to a truck.

... and now that I'm in new zealand I'll be towing a ROK with a Hyundai Elantra haha. The'll tow with anything down here. You see geo metro sized cars with tow bars all day long. I haven't seen a truck bigger than a Ranger/Tacoma in over a month (though they get sweet 3.0l turbo diesel mini trucks).

These pics/posts make me feel better. I just sold my Cummins Diesel truck, bought a Superfreak hull and a single place aluminum Titan trailer and will now be using my daily driver boosted Acura Integra slammed on coilovers as my tow rig. I'm not real sure I wanna tow my big trailer though. I have a big 2 place couch trailer that I setup for 4 standups/Blasters.

I pull my blaster and 650sx with my '06 Civic. Been doing it for 6 years. no issues so far, but I do flush the tranny fluid every 80K miles just in case.

Just FYI Honda recommends a transmission service (drain and fill) every 30k but that doesn't replace all the fluid in the cooler, lines, and torque converter like a flush does so you should still be fine. Hona 4 cylinders have no transmission problems, it's the V6 that tears up the transmissions

That is awesome!!! I am contemplating putting a hitch on my slammed and boosted mr2 for when I move out so I have a way to transport my skis.

I have a 95 auto civic and if you pull the drain plug and let it sit over night the torque converter will drain back into the tranny and out the drain plug...may not work the same on all civics.

I built a custom trailer that can haul either my SJ, dirt bike or ATV and i hook it up to my civic.

Pulling the drain plug will not drain the torque converter even if you let it sit for a year

Not trying to fight with you but both the civics i have owned 94 and a 95 would drain 90-95% of the tranny fluid...

I have a 05 accord and it will only drain 50% of the tranny fluid.
