I pull my blaster and 650sx with my '06 Civic. Been doing it for 6 years. no issues so far, but I do flush the tranny fluid every 80K miles just in case.
These pics/posts make me feel better. I just sold my Cummins Diesel truck, bought a Superfreak hull and a single place aluminum Titan trailer and will now be using my daily driver boosted Acura Integra slammed on coilovers as my tow rig. I'm not real sure I wanna tow my big trailer though. I have a big 2 place couch trailer that I setup for 4 standups/Blasters.
Just FYI Honda recommends a transmission service (drain and fill) every 30k but that doesn't replace all the fluid in the cooler, lines, and torque converter like a flush does so you should still be fine. Hona 4 cylinders have no transmission problems, it's the V6 that tears up the transmissions
Pulling the drain plug will not drain the torque converter even if you let it sit for a year
