improvised and turned the metal frame of the crate that the hull shipped in into a rolling work bench

probably gonna go with the cast rrp since its just a bit more than the xscream, with the rickter bracket which is what the previous owner said he used.just waiting for some more cash flow. birthdays next week so maybe i can continue purchasing parts or atleast some of the smaller things i will need.

Motor picked up yesterday along with a package deal on the rest of the driveline and parts to hopefully finish before reporting for duty. Just in case Dustin got a little freak ride yesterday.

okay so i ended up only having 2 days to get the whole ski put together and water ready so i didnt take many pictures of the actual build but i can say the fit and finish was amazing on this hull, everything bolted right into place without any modification. Also i chose to go with the krash pole (cant remember how to spell the actual name) and hood hooks and prongs, the chin pad was on back order so i cant say much about it but it should be in my dads hands soon seeing as im now in nc. i only got to ride the ski for 1 day which mostly consisted of the break in on the engine and about a hour of playing around with the ski, and im absolutly speechless with how this hull performs compared to the old sn sj i had. im in love with it, its really responsive to any input given whether it be body motion or through the steering system. so glad i decided to build a footrocket. now for the few pictures i did take. Also side note, the grates that Chris grace ships his hulls in make great work benches with a sheet of plywood and some castors for the build lol

thinking about shortening the pole next time im home ( if i cant get it up here to NC) just un sure on what length to start at?

Make sure to fog the motor really good if it's gonna sit for two years.

the lake is literally right out the back door the lawn mower was just to get everything from the garage lol

i did, but it might not sit that long i have approval to bring it onto base and store it here just need to get a hitch for my car and a trailer for it thats road worthy enough to make the 11 hour drive

Move that steering cable pivot in closer to the steering nozzle so she turns even fast!

its already drilled and ready for that just want to see if i can notice the difference it will make so i put it in stock position for now and will change it later

They are stock length but I plan on cutting them just didn't have time to if I wanted to hit the water before I left

Sweet!! Ya I know , I did the same. Didnt want to get them and end up being too short.
