im only running a 718 but i do plan on uping it later to a bb and i really like the xscream pole but if it has breathing issue im gonna avoid it and just go rrp

Are you sure there's no breathers in the hood? When I bought my hull people told me the same thing. I got it and it had breathers. I bought a xmetal pole and have no issues.

Did not realize that what you meant. He ran a 1400 in a Chan also, not sure on any additional intakes on that hull.

Chan has hood breathers.
I'm sure you could modify the footrocket hood for breathers, but I don't see the point. Just run the correct pole.

The pole breather holes have already been drilled for rrp, so they will be to big for x-metal, could be fixed, but just another step your have to do.
You have to run a footrocket pole bracket. So may have to work out some fitment issues with mounting the x-metal pole.

probably gonna go with the cast rrp since its just a bit more than the xscream, with the rickter bracket which is what the previous owner said he used.just waiting for some more cash flow. birthdays next week so maybe i can continue purchasing parts or atleast some of the smaller things i will need.

Look into the Aura billet pole. Cheaper than RRP. Most likely lighter. Hit up Tony or Chris at TigerCraft
