Carbon Foot Rocket build

I wouldn't recommend getting a donor. Most of the stuff you want is aftermarket. No sense buying a whole ski just to get electronics, hood latch, gas tank straps and hooks, etc...

this was my original thought.

If you want to save some money, just buy the random oem parts you need used off the X or from JetManiac.
Alot of the parts im going to be ordering will be coming from jetmaniac simply because hes local to me

I'd buy a donor ski. I'm doing what your thinking of doing and it's costing me waaaaaay more then it could have. And let's be honest how many skis are out there that don't have aftermarket parts?!? If you find a ski that is bone stock look for another. If you look on Craig's list, Theresa couple on it now for 3-4000 with pipe, head, pole. But it's your build do as you please. Just putting out my .02 from experience.

OMG!!!! so i totally just remembered i have a complete 93 vxr pro back home at my dads shop that him and my brother wrecked into each other while riding my 650sx back in the day and sunk and destroyed both hullsbut we recovered and saved both i think....so with that being said what all can be used from that ski to transfer into my FR build that will be running a 61x62t jm 718?

Yes the a lot of it will work. The pump will work just not the drive shaft. And if you want to use that pump the wear ring on those I believe don't have threads in them so you'll have to attach the pump piece by piece. The steering cable will work the throttle cable will work. All the inserts will work. The tank won't fit the e box will work the wiring will be just long. So you'd be almost good other then complete exhaust and tank.

The engines Jm does and most everyone else is 62t cases and 61x cylinders. But you just made out good my friend!

Yes you just need the marching flywheel. That is the important part. 61x flywheel has to be used with 61x stator and the same for 62t. You can you'd either on either engine.

I'm sure you can find a b pipe right now. I found a few when I was looking. They're cheaper now. I wouldn't waste your time and energy rocking a stock exhaust. Just keep looking.

It's all personal preference. I know the mods that's what I have they're easier to install in a am hull. That's for sure. The limited is a inch and a half longer I believe

Yea that's a water box as well tho. But your call.
Also I'd stick with the mod chamber it might be a tight fit if you went with a limited.

I used it on my last build. I believe it was two parts to it. I removed the outer piece and had to press the shaft in more.
