I also finished up and installed one of these for testing, I call it the scupper screen. Prevents any debris from possibly holding open or jamming your scupper/versi-plug and keeps any bolts, nuts, or hardware in your hull so you know they have fallen off. It is held in place by an o-ring that expands when you tighten the three bolts and a set screw. Fits inside 2" PVC pipe commonly used for scuppers.

Would anyone be interested in one if I make a batch up?

That would have saved me at least 2 or 3 jammed one way valves so far!

102nd7 was the one running a stock 155 pump. He upgraded to a 155 mag this year. I was running a 144mm Solas mag pump last year and upgraded to a MAXX 148 mag for this year.

You want one? I've got two extras sitting here! It's already saved me a motor mount bolt/washer/shim that came loose during my first ride. It seems to work great!

I like the idea on your scupper screen. When I installed my scupper tube in my squarenose a few years ago I glued a female threading piece on first. Its nice for the days you wanna tie off with a boat and not worry about your ski sinking. I run two pumps as well.

Question for you... I'm relocating some mount point in my hull right now, what did you use? I have the hook parts you bolt down, but I don't know what people are using to fix threads to the hull. I hope that made some sense...

Yes, I made some custom ones out of stainless steel after being unable to source them without ordering a very large amount. How many do you need? I have a few extra. Brian at RCW also sells them. I epoxied mine into the hull with a few layers of carbon over them.

I also have two sets of Brawler hood hooks ready to go if anyone really wants them. I'm waiting for some more sets to get finished up so I can get them anodized, but if you don't mind bare aluminum I will sell them now.

Thanks for the offer. I'll let you keep your spares and hit up Brian. If he doesn't have any I may take you up on that.

Ok guys now that Phil got them all tuned in I'm dying to hear a full ride report.

We are taking them out tomorrow probably run 5 gallons or so through them. Witch will be Limitedslip7 1st real ride. I think he wants to make some pole adjustments and add some Turf to his foot holds to tighten them upa bit. I'm sure he will chime in after that.

Well I started to attempt backflips yesterday afternoon. All I can say is that I hope these Brawlers are as tough as I've heard because I am going to beating the piss out of them. Nothing but backflops so far, I'm still trying to get all of the motions down. It seems like there is so much going on all at once!

I think I pancaked it 5-6 times so far with no signs of cracking anywhere yet. Gonna heal up and get back at it in a few days!

I was in the same boat as you last year, it really does seem like there is a lot going on at once. If you haven't seen the thread where I ask for constructive criticism, you should check it out, some experienced guys gave some great tips and I'm flipping and riding them out consistently now.

Couple of updates. I've cut my long ride plate down. Still not using the rage plates I've ridden limitedslip7's several times and with my weight I think it's just a little to short. My plates now about 2" longer. I'm hoping for my 1st back flip this weekend. I've also switched back to the X metal trim system with b pipe coupler for a flow guard. Looks like our should work very well.
I've sent out my brand new prop to impros to have the leading edge pitched down 2° as I was told to by Phil Clemons. " Who is awesome by the way" hopefully that will be back in a few days. And I'll be installing a bulb primer tonight.

I'm doing the same as far as the prop. I have a 13/19 in my 155 now and nozzles are at 89 and 93. It's still all up top power. I don't ride in that rpm range. I'm looking for a 10/17 or 10/18 for my 155 if anyone reading this has one to sell.
