I think Limitedslip7 is going to start laying paint tomorrow. We tried to rent 2 different paint booths and didn't get either. So I just made a booth in my garage out of pvc pipe and plastic.

^^^^^ Been there, works good, just make sure you ventilate it with a fan. These skis really are looking good. Cant wait to see the finished products.

Sorry things are not going very smoothly. ill snap a pic of Limitedslip7 bottom deck tonight as long as he don't mind. I'm going to say like 12 to 15 hours of work in the booth and only 1 bottom deck done. And I'm pretty sure he's not very happy. But he's a perfectionist and really wouldn't be happy no matter how good it came out. He'd find something he doesn't like about it. I've only seen it from far away and I think it looks pretty good.

Eh, I just finished up the bottom half on my ski today. Let's just say I'm not the greatest of painters and attempting a 5 stage candy paintjob might not have been the best idea for a painting n00b. I'm hoping Tim's bottom deck turns out a bit better.

The booth is actually quite a bit brighter than it appears in those pictures. The sun was shining on the opaque garage door and I think the lights were off in the garage.

Paint seems to be the breaking point for every 1 of my builds. I'm never happy with it. Aghhhh fudge it is here to stay now
