Are you going to try to do a backflip.im going to try to do it it may b hard to do it with 701

Tanner, I'm certainly going to try to flip until I get it. But I really want to learn how to do a plate-to-plate rolls and flat spins.

Rubbertoe, I remember when steve was riding his 550 and all he talked about was getting an FX-1. My buddy had his new FX-1 at the river and I think it took a while, but Steve talked him into a ride on it. The rest is history.

ROKR update, everything is set up and ready to drop the engine in, just waiting on the ignition at this point. From what I've gathered, the Deka ETX9 should work fine with the MSD TL ignition. I will report the good and bad once everything is up and running. Also, going to stay with the stock superjet steering cable for now.

No prob Gary, come ride it. The surf ended up being pretty flat that day. So you didn't miss much.

Top bracket (pipe to head) finished and off to anodize. Outer skin of pipe (front PV) cut and rewelded so PV can open 100%. Progress is steady, aiming for water test by end of next week. So I should have some ride reports by April... :(

Worked on it all day, done for now, another couple of hours of work it will be ready to ride. Big thanks to my buddy from DASA. He took care of the ignition and all fab work to fit the Type 4 drypipe.

Well looky there, something happened in your garage. Looks good, hope it performs as well as it looks. Eat your Wheaties.

Well after bugging you for months with setup questions, I figured I should go out and apply some of your knowledge! Thanks man, this year at WF steak dinner and beers on me!

Try dropping something in the hull, takes a d@mn flashlight to find it.. I just got the pipe back yesterday, so maybe I will coat it a color next season.
