Hell yeah brotha. Glad they're taking care of you.

I'm still sorting my ski out. I've thrown a complete 6m6 ebox in that is known good. Hope to hit the lake tomorrow and see if that solves my bog. Really really tired of mine half working, but I defintely don't want blown up pistons either!!! LOL

Well Motor is back in just having trouble dialing in the carbs. I think I will probably concede and drop it off at the ski clinic to tune. Also this weekend I had put on a protec intake from my original FX-1 and the extra scooping power found some week spots in the plastic pump shoe and ripped the inserts right out destroying the bottom part of the shoe. New aluminum shoe on order so it will be back to the grinding and epoxy for me. I hope I can get the old shoe out, I'll be applying a lot of heat I imaging to soften up the epoxy that it was glassed in with. If anyone has any bright tips I'm all ears.

What I do know is I've changed so much on the ski I'm having to learn how to ride all over again. Finding it hard to ride with my feet in the footholds and keep wanting to revert back to surf stance. Also with all the extra power this ski feels a bit more squirrelly. I'm sure it is just a matter of getting more seat time but can't seem to be able to keep her healthy enough to stay on the water for more than 3/4 of a tank of gas.

After much time I handed the ski over to The Ski Clinic to do some tuning. They found a leak in my FP exhaust manifold that was able to be welded and a crack in my waterbox. I ordered a new aluminum box from carterb (thank you) and they got it buttoned back up.

After a jetting change they handed the ski back over. I launched it Saturday in some not so great weather and the ski ripped! It finally was pulling hard out of the hole with good hookup. The ski is a lot more predictable now I can't wait to take it out again. Only tweaks this winter will be to maybe take another 1.5-2.0 inches off the handlepole and replace my hull drain plugs with some larger seadoo style ones that seal better.

Big props to the ski clinic for the labor they put into the ski getting it dialed in, they are a top notch shop and I'm lucky they are so close! I'll get another year or so out of this hull then maybe look to a BOB.

Just adding a little video of a run I took today. I was pretty tired at this point and ski actually ran out of gas on the last nose stab. My trim cable snapped earlier that day, terry cable here I come. Nothing special in the video. I need to ride with people that know what they are doing, as many videos as I watch about barrel roles, I still don't get it once I'm on the water, I always feel like my nose is way to high coming off the setup wake.

Getting use to the footholds finally. I still think it could use a little more hookup possibly modifying the intake area would help. If I hold onto this ski will probably put in a tom21 intake section, rocker the nose and shorten the handlepole another 2 or 3 inches.

Other wise i'm looking at a BOB or a Q8 sky.
