My 2013 Ecoboost F-150 is currently getting new turbos @ 65k and I've taken realllyyy good care of it. Thankfully I purchased a 3rd party extended warranty and its only costing me a $50 deductible. I'm not a lover or hater on the ecoboost and my past F-150 was the 5.0. If I had two identical trucks to chose from, I'd choose the 5.0.

2013 with only 65k miles? Must not be daily driver!

Yeah the Rams look nice...... I've asked guys with Fords how they’re holdin up, no joke, 2 of them told me they traded their Rams for the Ford because of transmission problems.

You need a white work truck? Our dealership has a ton of them and the small transit vans............... Like 30 each or so!
Thanks BK! I actually got an inspection sticker on our 09 Silv 1500 so I'm not pressed for time. Has emission/ vent codes and we don't want to put any money into fixing it. I was able to clear codes and keep tank topped (no less than 2gal down) and run it for 150mi. Sailed right thru emissions check , 1/4 mile after leaving inspection station, light came back on. That light can burn out for all I care. As long as my new one shows up within a year I'll be good. I do like the fact that when I get my new one it is exactly what I wanted (option wise).

GMC Sierra 1500 SLT with max tow package. The one that has the 6.2L gas engine. My 2012 just hit 205k with minor maintenance and the 0-90 is pretty awesome.
Had to replace my transmission last weekend. :( New reman I got the gm dealer said most people get about 100k out of them.

I‘m wondering what configuration the new 5.0’s are. Windsor based? Our ‘02 F250 5.4 was a pia, spit 2 different spark plugs right out of the threads. Both b4 100k.
They changed the plugs. They used to look like the ones in the picture. The design was really bad for building carbon on that stupid shaft that goes into the head. Now they're threaded the whole way.

I've had great luck with f150's. Always had the V8 with no issues. My 06 had 370,000km with only minor maintenance being done. I have the aluminum body now. It took a golf ball off the door without denting.

From order date to delivery turned out to be a week shy of 5 months. IMHO it was worth the wait, got exactly what I wanted option wise.

What options? What engine?
Id get a new Ford, just to have an aluminum rust free body for years to come. I also like the e-coated paint on the chassis. Should help these trucks last a long time and hold strong resale value.
