It's gonna be a killer season...just getting started. First waves are hitting today (2-4)'s. Probably choppy from the west, but they are waves to play on. My ski is in the paint shop right now....

Rainny and flat here in Buffalo... please tell me someone on the west end of Erie got out to enjoy some waves?????

Should be east end of Erie, no? I guess they are not north enough to hit you, but we have an evil West wind here right now...if it kicks a little North we'll get bombed here in Cleveland.

ok cleveland is not so bad, at least today. not quite the 2-4's you mentioned but consistant 2-3's. i'll take it even if it was a WNW washing machine. we should stop with the wave chants and just complain about it. the complaining worked and brought us waves. oh one last thing no more sinking of ski's this year what a pain in the ace.

Yea today was a blast other than the sinking but at least we got to test the crew. Good job smurf! The Envy lives!

I never thought I would get to ride a 8 mil stroker, a Wamiltons friggin hull with a friggin trinity hood (BADAZZ KORN GET READY!!) at Edgewater here in good ole Cleveland....thanks for that guys!

Come one waves, then soon Michigan, Virginia, Daytona!

jesus i go away for a week and everyone is selling their :):):):).
( btw i just got back from south carolina on the beach every day. flat all but one day, 95 degrees and humid. the one day of waves were maybe 2 footer.

all the days you guys whine it's flat i see 3 foot chop from the on shore winds.
flat days = carving days and cruising anyhow, is that not fun ???

there are always boats going into and out of the river .
except early in the am !!
wtf, sure not as many as the good old days but there are still some. The nice trade off is we don't have to deal with all of them anchored at the beach fighting with us.

i've been in 14 foot hell waves here with mau. ummm no fun
i've rode in water just above freezing with korn. some of the best 3 foot rollers i have ever seen with intervals that rival the pacific.
when i feel like it, my season is a good 6 months long .
most of it in fresh water, with surf pushing 3-4 feet , water temps in the 70's and no sharks or jellyfish to worry about. sounds like a good thing to me.


smurf sell your :):):):) and give me your magnum pump.
vogi ill take your wdk pole. .
me and centerline and korn will go ride the :):):):) out of what ever the lake has to offer with ray and deb.

and like korn said, the pacific is always cold
the atlantic is finicky with it's waves just like lake erie, and the golf is no better ( but way nicer to look at).

My thoughts pretty much exactly... It might be crappy at times but it could be worse much worse... Gary, Indiana... Bumsville Iowa... we are 30 mins at most from a huge fresh water lake that has the potential of putting out huge waves!

Like I said it might be crappy and there are better places but it all comes with trade offs and I am glad to call it home!

btw thanks for mentioning me in your rant... 'preciate that buddy! lol

I was on an Oil Rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico and I only met you guys at the end of July!... And I rode with Oldskoo a ton more...

Anyways I am back home now for the summer and I am ready to ride...
