No more 760, or at least only for a week or two, new piece of metal in the garage

Got it all out back together with the 760 today and it's ready to hit the water, I'm gonna wait a week or two before i put the other motor in

Oh almost forgot about this thread, last time I posted I had the ski running again, took it out ran for 15min, then died on me. Wouldn't fire again, next day it started right up, took it out, same thing + I almost sank it paddling back from the middle of the river, turns out the seal around the flywheel cover was bad and salt water rusted the stator and bendix, the stator was the problem, I thought the motor was done for but its just inside the flywheel cover that it's rusty, the rest is good

I am also getting my mag pump rebuilt before I put the new engine in because the bearings were sloppy, and I got some fresh rrp couplers and a ebox that's all 2014 electronics and start stop, scored a good deal on it

I had my flywheel in my SJ leaking too. Took it apart and the flywheel gasket was a hair smaller then the surface it was covering. Day in the sun and lots of RTV later it is good to go. I think there are some bad flywheel gaskets going around..

My 62t flywheel for the new motor got lightened and painted by speedy sprocket and it turned out nice, it's on it's way back ready for the ski, also got a good deal on some rrp pole tubes I couldn't pass up, gonna run my pole shorter

I have a fat crack in my battery box, I really hope the rad dudes ones go on sale for Black Friday
