coffman Pipe on 750sxi

Nah , clean the carbons out before you do any adjustments the plugs were flooded ,your becoming a carb person. You Just saved 100-200$

I was saying unless it was the great lakes ,l wouldnt ride in a lake without a real 440/750 , the hull is way to narrow it wont work without a custom 7k hull section ,but my 650 may work , id like to have a 96 roundnose ,the cheapest your gonna find one for is 1600 ,lota money these days, l dont know l rode with a superjet and l can keep up till 57mph or so, bouts to ride and the waterz dark as hell, but its been raining heavily

They said in that article the stock waterbox is hard to beat, and i hate how loud my muffler is. Would i be able to hook back my stock waterbox with this coffman exhaust pipe. If so, should i just move the water box over to that side? And water exiting the coffman exaust is able to go into the water box safely? Wonder if it can be positioned on its side

The stock water box will work you'll have to strap it down like a 650sx ie glass some hooks in fiqure out what bands will work get some of that matting rubber maybe you have a square to sit the water box on and may have to get special hoses from? Order them from somewhere as long as its a clear path and good turns if any

Maybe the hosing you have will work or be joined via a coupler?

Thats the way id doit , couple 3 layers of fiberglass cloth epoxy resin and hardner 2"x2" +- and some hooks of some sort.

And you'll probably have to get some bands from another ski or straps like yamaha

So hopefull. Thanks. Ya, im going to drop the waterbox back in. Ive got tubing and the stock waterbox padding. Just gotta mount it like your saying . I think moving the battery would be a good idea. And use those straps to mount waterbox.

Think you are going to have a tough time relocating the box to the other side of the hull. If you look at the outlets, it goes in the box on the front and out on the upper right edge, if looking at it from the tray. Way more work than its worth. You would be better off finding the coffmans that uses the stock box and trade or sell the one you have.

True. Infact im half tempted to scrap the whole idea of new exaust and go back to stock. At least ill go to sleep knowing ive got the correct high and low jets screwed correctly to stock.

Alright. Soo... I got back from the lake. Dissappointed. It idles great. i can give it 1/5th throttle no problem. but when i give it 2/5ths throttle it dies. I have to eas it in to 1/2 throttle then i can WOT 100% and it floors, seams like max power too.

So i ended up have 2 1/2 High speed screw. It might be able to go a bit more down.
And i tried the low screw.... To what i seams like every turn tested.
It wouldnt idle or start very well if it dipped bellow 1 turn. It started and idle great anywhere passed that.
So i kept going up all the way to 2 1/2 turns.... And i couldnt get rid of that mid range hesitation.
Is it my popoff ? Ive got the small spring in there currently, i have the same coil wind sping just slightly bigger i can try. And then a taller lighter one. ( i have pictures in this thread).
Could that be my problem? =[

Ive got 85 / 125 size screws as recommended.

Bandit, do you have any thoughts on this? Im EXTREMELY thinking about going back to stock setup. But then again, i have a broken waterbox that ill have to get welded. And i cut my stock hoses, so ill have to find someone that has the correct right angle hoses. Im in a big pickle.

Actually. Im reading this. http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=62278

And i think it lines up perfectly to my situation.. It says to ride it for 1/4th throttle for a few minutes then quickly excellerate. If it loads up and dies its Rich, if it hesitates, its lean.
And mine definetly loads up and dies.
So that means my low speed jet size is too big right? i should go from 85 back down to my 75 and try it out again? And should i also change out my springs to a larger pair that i own? or do i need to cut off a spring on my all ready small one.

When you get looking into a impeller , I'd get the 10/16 impros hooker, I have same year ski, same pipe. Just mikunis , it is a night n day difference.it was 298.00 for impeller, tool, and shipping , it might be a tad more cause I'm in cali, I know your a few states up north .

This statement makes me think you are lean, but you shouldnt have to go larger on the jets from where you are at. And its hard to tell how the ski is running through words. How are your carb base gaskets? If that is all good, I would try the stiffer springs. Also, you could try riding it, let it stall out and pull the plugs and see if they are wet.
