How deep is safe?

I can answer my own question now, we just installed it and the pin is about 1-1/8" deep, total cavity is around 1.5 inches. The Moroso wire is a tad fatter so getting the grommits on took some lube, and we had to make sure the holes were cleaned out good. Used 1211 for the seal when installing, this looks like really nice wire. He got a better deal than I did, 4 feet wire with 4 msd boots and terminals, FREE.

I would doubt it since it has silver plated copper over SS for the core conductor. Looks like some hella good wire to me. Just run the BR8ES resistor plugs for noise reduction.
