On the FR-2 the motor and pump are set back aswell.
So i ordered this hull with out ever ridding one..... and never ridding one until mine was done...... yes, some can say it was a stupid/risky maneuver but honestly after seeing what TC could pull off on the face of the wave... i new it was gonna be great.... and boy was i RIGHT!!!!!!
This is the frekin baddest thing i have ever rode in the surf. i cannot get it to pearl, period, just cant do it, wich opens so many doors to progressing surf ridding. everything i have ever known about a superjet and limits as to when and where i hit a wave has gone completely out the window with this ski. it will go anywhere and ride out. landings are so soft rolls and flips are so much easier. i only had 30 mins on the ski and already flipped it i was so comfortable on it instantly.
the ski turns on an edge very well too. it feels like a 750, a carver, but if you shift your weight it slides for days. there also used to be a science to doing re-entrys, this hull makes them cake now. ive already done some of the biggest ones of my life....the confidence this hull gives is just incredible.
ill never ride a SJ again.
HUUUUUUUUGE thanks to Carl Gramberg. he has helped me so much with the ski and everything in between. thank you.
Big thanks to my sponsors ; Cold-Fusion, Liquid Militia, Kal-Gard Oil, Premier Lath & Plaster, Powder & Sun Rideshop and Hydro-Turf
more later. gotta go tune.
