Other Cold Water Riding

I never had anything to keep warm with, just jump on and go..as for falling off...well...don't lol. I was on a little lake called Sydenham Lake just north of Kingston that April 4th weekend and it has spots around 100ft deep. It crossed my mind (only after I was over top of that depth)...what am I going to do if I spill? Not to mention there was about 25mph winds that day which made the riding interesting to say the least haha. So stay on that ski boy

Here's a little video from the weekend
Breaking Ice at Pigeon Lake on Vimeo

I love your video! It’s a great way to wake up, except for when you fall! Yikes!!! Being able to hear you fall into the water over the music is simply cringing (I honestly jumped in my chair the first fall)! I couldn’t do it, so I think you are very brave (all of you, but especially that one guy that was just laying in it at the beginning)!

I love both songs, but particularly the second one! What is it please?

Edit: Just watched again... YOU don't have any gloves on!!!!! That's insane there!

That was munki63 laying in the tray, he spent all weekend jetting his ski and he was just limping his ski to the cabin from the launch point.

The second song is full moon by the black ghosts

Not buying neoprene gloves was defiantly a bad idea...:banghead: I ended up wearing a pair of mechanic gloves for most of the weekend

Would it make a difference whether it's 10ft or a 100ft deep?

Believe it or not it makes a huge difference. The second lake I went to the next day was a max of 20ft deep and was about 8*c warmer. Needless to say it was still really cold lol...but at least I would have a better chance and a longer one

This was the first time I've had a chance to see the vid lol...awesome stuff but don't you know that 80% of the icebergs are under water? lol. Was that a heli flyin around toward the end of the vid? Maybe the Coast Guard looking for some early training? :naughty:
