Swapmeet, good point on not getting on here to say a hull is a POS and then wanting to sell it. I'm sure there are people with boats from all different hull builders in that situation. Regarding the search function, I have searched on here and talked to many members on the phone as this is my first A/M hull purchase. I listened to good and bad from everyone's input. My main focus in my first hull purchase was on the quality of build and ride quality. I can deal with someone who takes a bit longer or doesn't pacify me every day with a text or picture.

I doubt many people will remember it, but Jeff was supposed to have a big debut for his X-Jet with jetskinews.com (back when Chris Riley ran it) having the 'scoop' for the press release/etc. He didn't show up. That was back in 2003 or 2004 probably.

Not doing what he says he'll do is nothing new, it's what he's always done from the beginning.

My chan is 80lbs, no foam, surf layup. First ride I noticed water in the tray. Put a waveblaster drain plug on it. Drained after every ride. Now I have a versiplug on it. Doesn't effect my riding one bit. Broken ride plate Steve replaced for free. No gel coat problems or cracks. Pretty happy.

My ROK was glass carbon hybrid, rather heavy. Had foam in tray. Had some gel coat spider do dad going on bottom deck, no performance issue. Great hull, Jeff delivered on time, did a COD transaction.

This is both of my stories, I don't trip on small stuff like the tray or the gel coat impurity. Everything is fixable. I've gotten rather good customer service from both builders. I have kinda steered away from bragging about what I ride cuz it gets no where fast. I've gotten many pm's on both hulls and I've straight out told the truth. No lies. I'm happy as long as I'm on the water lol
