Couch recommendation please

My mother picked up an '04 Honda Aquatrax early this season. She seems to really like it, but she is in her mid 60's, lol.

She needs to bring it down to the surf, or maybe not!!

I've ridden a Honda (R12X) in surf and didn't care for it at all.
It's too big to "safely" get big air on. If you take off wrong, it starts pitching and there isn't a thing you can do about it.

I have seen some guys jump surf on a GPR. They were getting some good air, but I couldnt see anything good come out of it. Actually I was riding with some friends, I was on my B2 and he was on his GPR. We hit some huge waves from a ship in the channel, my buddy didnt realize how huge the wave was and came down on his GPR breaking his hip. Good surf day gone bad.
