I think its sick. Huge props on my part. Love everything about it, I'd do it.

You take risks to achieve something few other people attempt. There is a risk involved. You know you'll replace it if you can't get it back, big deal, a few thousand and a learned lesson, so you could build another one better:cool2:

NICE WEIGHT! . Stick it to the haters.

thinking about it more, I dont think that not having foam would be that big of a deal even if you were taking on water. If the gunwale area is sealed well enough, the air inside should provide floatation. Especialy when your riding with the sluts, you wont be floating for more than 2 minutes befores you ski is on plain on a tow rope!

Do you have any support foam under the tray?

sweet.... nice work Bronson.

You have got a lot of smart work into that boat to get it where it's at... props for thinking outside the box and going for something different.

270lbs is F'ing amazing for a stock hull...

People spend $5-6k for that kind of performance upgrade....

whats the weight of a regular round nose?

I think Yamaha claims 291.... I find this hard to believe..... maybe without a Battery in it :dunno:

We weighed a couple other boats..... one weighed in at 325lbs reinforced.... not sure how wet the foam was..... I think it was pretty dryed out.

The other was around 340.... fresh foam..... HEAVY reinfrocement.... No names mentioned...... both roundnoses!

You do the math.

All machines were weighed with a scale and hook hoisted up in the air. :purr:
