I made a prototype fixed steering hood last season and rode months with it in the waves. Double rolls are easily done with this setup. I was landing them off 4-5 waves with ease. You spin soooo much faster. Fixed steering is sweeeeeeet. Not good for surf riding though. Just flips and MX tricks.

I happand to have one that I gave him. (FL-Cracker) I don't think there is an actual "new fixed steering" being sold by any AM company.

I broke out the bathroom scale and I think this one will be under 260lbs.

Hull, everything but motor including exhuast, pump, mid shaft, pole bracket, fuel tank, and scupper

^^^^^ 135lbs
motor 80lbs
hood+ steering 20lbs
reinforcement 15lbs (At Most!)
Turf 5lbs
battery 5lbs
