Super Jet Cylinder Compression

The only thing i can think of is maybe cylinders didn't have enough oil in them for the rings to make a nice seal. And by holding the button in for a few more seconds your N&S came unstuck and pump fuel into the cylinders. The Sticky N&S could also cause your engine to not idle.

Just a thought.

I remember cranking a motor with a comp tester and it read 120psi then poured so premix in the engine and turned it over a few times and rechecked and it went to 160psi.

im thinking the same thing.. i had the engine sitting bone dry for about 8 months..

Consistency in checking compression is the best way to monitor our engine. I check mine once a month just to keep an eye on the performance.
FYI in checking compression: A good little squirt of your 2 cycle in each cylinder. (remove and ground both spark plug boots). Replace and torque the spark plug in the cylinder your not checking. Give it full throttle and crank a few times. I watch each compression and note it. helps with 2 people. Hopes this helps.
