Yeah the pump is working better than the 144. I still have trouble hitting my wake hard and the harder I try the worse I get. Then when I relax and putt around I end up crushing it. I think fellows may have gotten some more clips but didn't check them out. I am pretty happy with my ski's performance as is but I would like to try a 7/14 prop and my 89mm ring to see if I can bump up the low end pump response.

Ski had a few hull leaks I sealed up today. It's been running great with minimal wrenching so far. I did change to the middle size tail cone on the tbm. On a side note, I dropped the ski hauler 50 mm on all four corners to give it a better stance. Looks better and corners like an sxr now. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339898508.370663.jpg

Thanks abs. I got Steve to order me a duckbill drain to replace my ball check valve for the rear section of my hull. I don't think it seals as well as a versi plug. I sank my tail in water this week for about 3-4 minutes and then pulled it up on shore and it filled the river back up.

bumping my thread from under pages of much more expensive elaborate ski builds. I am not sure when i am packing in the ski for the season. we had our first frost 2 nights ago so i should at least start storing it inside the garage. My ski sat in the back of the veedub all summer and i did zero preventive maint on it which lead to 2 stripped head bolts above the powervalves which i fixed with stainless timeserts and the fx140 turn nozzle almost sank to the bottom of the lake when the bolt came out of the reduction nozzle. not a bad season for me. the cylinders look amazing inside when i had the head off. i have no idea how many hours are on this motor but its running real good still. oh yeah my shoria is still working perfect. i have not balanced the cells just use the battery tender jr. 1 full season on the battery without a single problem.

I have been thinking about some winter mods but there is not much I feel needs to be done. :(
I got a duck bill from SteveUK that is not paid for. I should pay him for it before he repo's my ski and has dirty break my leg. I do plan to install it instead of the ball valve I have now. This is to drain the rear of the hull which does collect water still. I will probably seal it up this winter when I strip the turf. I suspect the side bond rails may be seeping water in.
The ball valve does leak when floating in the water. I may tear down the motor and try finding some bigger pistons to go in the 7 port dasa. That would bump up some compression and displacement which is always nice. Besides that I don't know what really needs to be changed. It's a fun ski to ride but not everyone likes it. I think it's great lol.

What piston size are you at now Droc ? Ive got some beauty 86s on the shelf just have to get my motor bored
