Yeah, mix poor maintenance, crappy wrenching skills, laziness and beating the living chit out of a jetski and this is what you get...I think it can actually be welded back together. The rest of the motor is perfect (pistons, rings, cyllinder walls, crank, all look and move like new)...going to get all new studs and nuts and throw it back together for Daytona...

50% chance I'll be drinking more than riding down there! lol...

Thanks Suzi! So, apparantly I need a girdle kit! lol...I had one a while back....even with my compression at 155? Was thinkin of goin back to a stock head?

No?

My dad is going to clean up the cases at work and make sure they are flat, gonna weld the cylinder and see how that works...should be stronger than stock according to my aluminum welder. This will become my spare motor...I'll build a whole new one over winter.

DJ, i have a 750 sx cylinders that I will send u if u cover shipping. Run a hone through and use new rings, you should be good. The sx cylinder can safely be run to 83.00mm and u can get half sizes with your big pin crank so u can get 2 top end out of the cylinder. I can get it out tomorrow or monday. pm me

No problem, the 750 sx cylinder has lower port height so it will give better bottom end. It is currently at a 82.00mm bore. It just sits on my shelf. If your cylinder doesnt work out and u want this pm me.

Still Fat....
well... guess this can be a good excuse to use the DASA 850 or 900 cc cyl
but none-the-less it does suck
are you using any type of loctite to hold the studs in place
