What you should have done is used long screws and that would have made it a girdled air filter. Is that the cash you are going to spend on some new ones? Seriously I think they might cover the damage. It never hurts to try.

I have the same thing happening to my Tauceti's. Just seen it last weekend. Had to glue them back with some 5200 to get thru till next week. Buddy of mine, and his brother both had the same prob with their blowsion F/A's one only after a week!

if you clean with laquer thinner and roughen up the surfaces with 220 grit paper, and use regular epoxy instead of jb weld, they will hold up just fine. it sucks that you have to recondition them to get them to stay together though.

tau, blowsion, hot products, they all fall apart after one ride. I've never had a Prok do that.

Anyone try the new Blowsion F/As yet?

Tau Ceti makes the Blowsion and Hotproducts. They are the same.

The older Tau Ceti's that had the "Carbon" tops held up much better. I do not see how they think putting a alum. cap on them is going to hold up.
