I have been testing/running the new tau ceti/blowsion air filter for 2-3 months and i have not had any problems with them and i have really put a good beating on them. my 2cents
Center cap on the Prok's can seperate, drop down and block your carb.
K&N Pro Series. The top is rubber also. Nothing to fail as far as the tops falling off.
Even if you get the cap to stick on with the tauceti's chances are the caps will end up breaking apart. To salvage what would otherwise be a good filter...remove the cap, clean the surface of the filter and stick some turf on there. Once you trim it to suit, it looks good, doesn't let in water and is vibration resistant. We've run them like this for quite a while now and no problems yet.
